Hi, i love to show you my latest work for a munich-based magazine, called SPY.
I illustrated a map, with a lot of nice places in it, to explore the city at it´s best!
And what a nostalgic coincidence- during the realization i moved from munich to berlin, although i know every tiny corner in munich´s geography from now on because i had to (with a mediculous precision) insert  all the street names in every borough. extremly cool to be a walking navi….hm… but indeed a bit to late!!!

Langsam beginnen wir wieder mit den Vorbereitungen für unsere nächste Ausstellung. Dieses Mal wird es ganz nach meinem Geschmack. In Kooperation mit der wundervollen AROMA- KAFFEEBAR hier in München zeigt THE BAKERY zauberhafte Fotografien von JULIA SANDER.
“Das Süsse Leben” ergründet die Frage warum uns Schokolade so sehr fasziniert und was eben dieser Genuss in uns auslöst. Julia hat dazu wunderschöne Antworten gefunden…
Um dem Namen THE BAKERY alle Ehren zu machen lässt uns die AROMA- KAFFEEBAR am Abend der Vernissage an Ihren vielen Köstlichkeiten teilhaben. YUMMY!!!

i´m so excited and happy about our next big thing at THE BAKERY! we will show one of my favorite photographers from our artist portfolio - RALF BRUECK.
“PAIN IS WEAKNESS LEAVING THE BODY” shows Bruecks magical landscapes, in addition to his previously unreleased, very personal portraits of people encountered by the artist on his travels. the exhibition takes place at the 1st of october 2009 at THE BAKERY Gallery in munich and maybe some of you would like to come!

oh my! i´m really busy with the host of preperations for the VERNISSAGE of SEBASTIAN OTTO´s impressing art tomorrow at THE BAKERY. i´m really excited and  fussy because it´s the first exhibition after the “winter break”…. despite all that i was so honoured to read this nice post about US from a wonderful side called WE WILL BECOME . thank you, KARL!

uh, i´m sooooo incredibly excited to show you my freshly printed, illustrated fashion- zine!!!
it´s a petite selection of my latest beloved works … you like????

before my departure to spain i found this wonderful book (an issue from 1956)  in a sloppy cardboard box right beside my front door. i like the colours on the cover, the skirt and the way how the synopsis is written at the back of the book.
…oh so, i´m happy to be back again!
 

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich hier in München direkt um die Ecke einen wundervollen PAPIERLADEN gefunden und mir dort dieses wunderschöne Notizbuch gekauft…ich habe mich sofort in das Muster und das Papier verliebt! Einige Zeit lag es nun in meinem Regal um die optimale Bestimmung dafür zu finden. Jetzt bin ich mir sicher, Rezepte kommen da rein! Handgeschrieben, eingetippt,  eingeklebt und im Idealfall mit Fotos dazu. Genau wie meine Sketchbooks nur eben mit Anleitungen für köstliche Kuchen und Abendessen! 

munich´s spy magazine asked me if we would like to write an article about haidhausen (the district where we live/work in munich)- about things we love and enjoy…i felt a bit uneasy doing it- talking about my personal likes and dislikes but at the very beginning writing the article, all doubts were gone- i´ve never recognized how deeply i´m in love with this area, the people round the corner, the atmosphere and THE BAKERY- it seems like, i finally feel at home! please, read and enjoy (if you know how to speak german…:D)

mit einem grossen lächeln und wunderbarer freude im bauch, halte ich nun endlich die märzausgabe des SPY MAGAZIN in meinen händen- mit meinem cover- artwork!!!
nach unendlich viel faltarbeit und herumprobiererei, hatte ich mein köstliches origami- menü fertig: knusprige pommes zu einem saftigen burger!

ohhh hatten wir viel schnee die letzten tag hier in münchen…mein lieblings “The Bakery“- platz sieht schon seit einer woche sehr weiss aus und heute schmilzt wieder alles…
warm wurde mir durch diesen köstlichen apfelkuchen, einen reiseführer über madrid und meiner neuen wundervollen girlande.

snowy day. beeing inside. thinking in structures and how to realize the most recent designs!

i found a wonderful shop called 1260 GRAD last week in munich where i bought that vase- perfect shape and size with a really special structure. they sell very lovely self- made pottery and i could spend hours snoopin around…right across the street i got this spray of dahlias to give the vase a perfect accessory!

finally it´s done… the flyer is printed, stamped and minted and we are so happy and content and ready to – ha!-  conquer the world with our brand new flyer.
