Vor einiger Zeit habe ich hier in München direkt um die Ecke einen wundervollen PAPIERLADEN gefunden und mir dort dieses wunderschöne Notizbuch gekauft…ich habe mich sofort in das Muster und das Papier verliebt! Einige Zeit lag es nun in meinem Regal um die optimale Bestimmung dafür zu finden. Jetzt bin ich mir sicher, Rezepte kommen da rein! Handgeschrieben, eingetippt,  eingeklebt und im Idealfall mit Fotos dazu. Genau wie meine Sketchbooks nur eben mit Anleitungen für köstliche Kuchen und Abendessen! 

ohhh hatten wir viel schnee die letzten tag hier in münchen…mein lieblings “The Bakery“- platz sieht schon seit einer woche sehr weiss aus und heute schmilzt wieder alles…
warm wurde mir durch diesen köstlichen apfelkuchen, einen reiseführer über madrid und meiner neuen wundervollen girlande.

back in town after wonderful days at my parents house. with all the laugher, the babys , the dogs and the excellent food i´m still full of joy and delight!
unfortunately two of my closest friends are in hospital these days…

last night i taped these wooden letters on my kitchen wall!
its a small verse from sunset rubdowns- shut up i´m dreaming of places where lovers have wings…so deeply in love with this song for a long long time…

freezing cold outside! that´s why i made some colourful purchases to warm up a bit…

Ay me! it´s quite a while… such a thrilling time!
For that reason i like to show you my greatest treasures. more than ten years of writing and collecting i have various diaries including the most secret secrets. i collect receipts, photographs, tickets, poems, postcards, plusplusplus to remind me of these special times…whether they are good or bad. these days i have to start a new one (still an exciting thing for me) and i found a wonderful book. salmon- pink linnen with a mint bookmark, blank and thick pages as always- love it! 

this week i dedicated my time creating this wardrobe which idea haunted me for months. with the incredible help and sawing skills of my brother the tree grew out of itself. after coupling the “twins” with a rack i lacquered the in- and outside with white colour. i leave the edges blank so that the wood structure gives the silhouette a remarkable touch! i can´t wait the colour to dry to hang up my new aenniemal dresses…

two days ago i witnessed one of their incredible concerts in tiny tiny winterthur (sleepy CH). these girls are nuts and shake their ass like hell. beautiful! they are on a monster- tour through europe, playing almost every night in another city….so buy some tickets and go for it- will be an incridible evening for sure.

i am so excited! the wonderful anne abert from hamburg will do an installation at the bakery gallery. its gonna be a stop motion movie installation based on a fiction by boris vian. vernissage on friday, 25th of april starting at 20.00h

i am so in love with her playful und detailed approach to create unique and beautiful worlds and by the way, anne is a marvellous person as well.

so if you are as curious as i am come by and have a look at this fantastic piece of art.

somewhere i saw the cover of Goldfrapp´s new studio album “Seventh Tree“. i´m totally in love with the pictures and the styling. the whole artwork is marvellous, especially the owl!  

i spent the last weekend in the fabulous city of hamburg. it was such a nice trip! great people, million things to see but definitive to short in time. such an enormous difference to the dull munich thing here. everything was so vibrant and urbane…looking forward to harbour in there again soon!  

this is a wonderful book published by Die Gestalten Verlag. Edgar Allan Poe is one of the most important american writers and was a considered part of the American Romantic Movement. best known for his mystery and macabre short storys and poems his imagination comes to life in this amazing book.  the illustrations, done by great artists combined with ten short story masterpieces send a shiver down my spine and make me loving it. 

    

this little masterpiece is my greatest inspiration. vincent is a 1982 stop- motion short film written and directed by tim burton. i could watch it all the time!
