he wasn´t a soft and pink with a fat little tummy;
he was a hard and hollow, a little boy mummy.
“tell us, please, doctor, the reason or cause,
why our bundle of joy is just a bundle of gauze.”
“my diagnosis,” he said, “for the better or worse,
is that your son is the result of an old pharaoh´s curse.”

It was late in the day—just before dark.
Mummy boy took his dog for a walk in the park.
The park was empty except for a squirrel,
and a birthday party of an mexican girl.
the boys and girls had started to play,
but noticed that thing that looked like papier mâché .
“Look, it´s like a pinata,” said one of the boys,
“lets crack it wide open and get candy and toys.”
they took a baseball bat and whacked open his head.
Mummy boy fell to the ground; he finally was dead.
Inside of his head were no candy or prizes,
just a few stray beetles of various sizes.

i like to show you that great box of treasures. it´s the whole collection of all the printing blocks my grandparents and my parents used for catalogues, booklets, flyer and advertising for their own company. A lot of material of a half-century! it was such an exciting moment to unpack the carton. Besides old bills, notes and illustrations i found a cliché with an image of my grandparents- i think it was used for an anniversary issue…The two looked amazingly charming, right?

men, time goes by too fast…i´m so sorry for my discontinuity! i like to show you some nice things from last week…first is a old tapestry from BANGUI, central-africa. my relatives lived there and it was a gift to us when we where little. now this masterpiece is mine and it reminds me of my child´s room back in the days. i love it. the memory, the great needlework, the colours and the motive.
AND look at this cute flower and the special mail which my sweet five-year-old nephew sent to his “fast-food aunty” from his holidays in sweden: a delicious-looking hot dog (varm korv)- postcard- deeply in love with the stamps (and julius of course)

jetzt bin endlich wieder in berlin…das ist schön! bin wirklich lange nicht mehr hier gewesen. vielleicht werde ich mal an die OSTSEE fahren, da war ich nämlich noch nie, aber nur falls es die arbeit zulässt natürlich!
